Okay so I am WAYYYYY behind on blogging so I figured instead of not writing anything i would write one last thing before I left....
I'm not even sure what I left off with but I do know that I told many people many different things soo here's what is up.
So on Oct. 22 we started our outreach. The Americans went to Amarillo Texas and the Mexicans went to Monterrey for stateside outreach. When we left we had the plan to go to Kenya for the next part of our outreach, but we were still trusting God for a little over 20,000 dollars. When we got to Amarillo everything seemed good and we continued to pray in faith that we were going to Kenya. We never felt like God told us otherwise so we didn't think of anything else. Things began to look up, but then, every time we would look how much more money we needed it would seem like more. We knew something was up. We didn't know what, whether it had to do with relationships or if God had something for us first but we knew something was up. Our team Skyped when we could and we would have prayer meetings but we still did not know very much. When we got back together we had a prayer meeting in the evening. We went into the prayer meeting just asking God what He had for us. We wanted to be very open, all we wanted was for God to speak. During this prayer meeting God showed us MANY things. Everyone was very tired, especially the ones who had just gotten back, so we broke for the night and came back the next day. After that prayer meeting and some leadership meetings we decided that God wanted us to go to Lima, Peru and Mexico City!!! This was sooo exciting and made A LOT of sense to all of us and just felt right. With some people who had extra money and an offering we have all the money to go!!! On Wednesday half of us will leave for Peru and on Thursday the other half of us will leave because of some ticket issues that's how it worked out, but it's SUPER exciting!!! (I leave on Wen. : ) In Peru we will be working with a church and we will be doing a WIDE range of ministry. In Mexico City we will be there during La Dia de la Virgin Guadalupe (The day of the virgin Guadalupe). People walk from their home cities on their knees to Mexico City so Guadalupe will do miracles for them. It is super crazy and super awesome!!! I cannot wait to work with these people and show them that our God is the one true God and He is the one who will give them life. I am altogether very excited. I cannot wait to go share God to the people in Lima, Peru and Mexico City!!!!!!! : D
There will be internet in Peru, but I most likely will not have much communication because I am going to leave my computer here because it never picks up internet anyway. Please pray that God's will be done in our outreach and that we can effectively share who He is with the people. Pray that we would be willing to go out of our comfort zones to share whatever God puts on our hearts to share. Thank you guys very much for your prayer and support!!! : D <3 It means a lot!
